What you need to know about the Print the Estimate window and the estimates printed.

Under Print, the window offers only what the plan has to show: Patient CNP, if the patient has a CNP; Patient Phone and Email, if they have a phone or an email; Diagnosis, if the plan has its diagnosis written, for the medical staff only; Discounts, if a treatment has a discount. For the signed estimate, the window also offers Doctor's Stamp, when the doctor has their stamp in Digiodent, and Clinic Stamp, when the clinic has its stamp. Ticked, Closing Note is printed at the end; its text can be changed before printing.

Under Prices and Payment, the estimate shows the price of each treatment (Each Treatment) or only the stages’ totals (Stage Totals Only); with the price of each treatment, Stage Totals and Duration adds each stage’s total and duration. Payment can be Not Shown, In Full, at the Start, Advance, the Rest Later or At Each Stage; with an advance, the estimate shows the percentage in Advance (%), the advance and the rest, in lei. Valid for (days) sets the date the estimate is valid until.

A plan’s estimate gets a number the first time it is printed and keeps it every time it is printed again.

Only the signed estimate of an active plan is kept among the patient’s documents. The offer and an estimate printed without a signature are downloaded but not kept in Digiodent.

The plan’s Full form, opened from the plan’s three-dot button, then shows the message “The total changed after the estimate signed on …, from … to …: print the estimate again and have the patient sign it.”, with the Print the Estimate button.

Reception prints the estimate from Dental Clinic > Treatment Plans: they open the plan and tap Print the Estimate. The same window opens.

The window opens with the choices the clinic administrator last printed with: their choices become the defaults for the whole clinic. They also set, in Configuration > Estimate, the validity, the closing note, the warranty conditions, the VAT note and the clinic’s stamp.
