How booking the stages works

What you need to know about booking the treatments of a plan.

A stage is booked with the doctor chosen on its treatments, otherwise with the plan’s doctor. If that doctor does not do every procedure of the stage, Digiodent looks for the free times of a doctor who does them all.

An appointment booked from the plan takes a single stage. To put treatments from several stages, or other procedures too, in one appointment, use New appointment, in the patient’s Appointments tab: tick the treatments from the plan, add the other procedures in Other procedures and choose one of the First free times.

Reception books the treatments from the agenda: once they choose the patient in the appointment’s window, they choose the treatments in the From plan field. They can also start from the plan opened from Dental Clinic > Treatment Plans, with the Schedule button, which opens the doctor’s agenda with the patient and the stage’s treatments.

Digiodent looks for free times in the next three weeks. If it finds none long enough for the stage, First free times shows “No free time in the next 3 weeks.”: then book the stage at another time, in the agenda.
