Rights and roles
Each colleague gets one role: Reception, Medical Assistant, Doctor or Medical Coordinator. Any colleague can also be given the Clinic Administrator role. Roles determine what each person sees and can do in Digiodent.
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Reception | The agenda, patients and invoices. Sees treatment plans and treatments, without the doctor’s notes, for the estimate and the invoice, and adds the patient’s administrative documents (the financial agreement, the signed estimate). Does not see consultations, the odontogram or clinical documents. |
| Medical Assistant | The agenda and patients; in addition, reads medical records, notes findings for the doctor, adds clinical documents, prints estimates and books the treatments from a plan. Does not see invoices. |
| Doctor | All of a medical assistant’s rights; in addition, writes consultations, draws up treatment plans, performs treatments, issues invoices and rectifies or voids their own wrong consultations and treatments. |
| Medical Coordinator | All of a doctor’s rights; in addition, rectifies or voids any doctor’s wrong consultations and treatments, keeps the list of procedures up to date and reads the audit log, including the values changed. Is notified when a colleague is given the Doctor or Medical Coordinator role. |
| Clinic Administrator | All of Reception’s rights; in addition, manages colleagues and their accounts, prices, working schedules and the wording of the SMS, and sees the dashboards and the audit log, without the values changed. Reads medical records only after taking a medical role as well. |
