Digiodent sends a patient SMS only when they have agreed to them and have a phone number in their file. The SMS log shows every SMS sent, with its state.

Note the patient’s agreement to SMS

1. Tap Patients, in the top bar of the Appointments app.
2. Type the patient’s name in the Search... field and press Enter.
3. Tap the patient’s name in the list.
4. Tick SMS Notifications, in the GDPR and Consents section.

Digiodent saves the file by itself, and the patient’s history keeps who ticked the agreement and when.

Read an appointment’s SMS

1. Tap the appointment in the agenda.
2. Tap Edit.
3. Tap SMS, at the top.

SMS Log has one row for each SMS of the appointment, with its date and state; Delivered means the SMS reached the patient’s phone.

Read all of a patient’s SMS

1. Tap Full form, in the patient’s File tab.
2. Tap More, at the top.
3. Tap SMS.

The log has every SMS of the patient, from all their appointments.

Resend an SMS

1. Tap Resend, at the end of the row whose state is Not Delivered or Expired.
2. Tap Ok in the window “Send this SMS again? The provider charges it again.”

The SMS goes out again, with the same text, to the same number.
