What you need to know when you work in Digiodent on a tablet.
The same account, the same data
Section titled “The same account, the same data”On a tablet you open the same address and sign in with the same account as on a computer. The screens and the data are the same: what you saved on one device you find on the other. In this guide, “tap” means a mouse click and a touch of the finger alike.
Sideways or upright
Section titled “Sideways or upright”Held sideways, the tablet looks like a computer: the whole week fits in the agenda, and the panel on the right, with
the small calendar and the Doctors list, stays open.
Held upright, the tablet makes room for the days and the teeth. The agenda’s panel starts closed: you open and close
it with the button at the end of the row with Today, and Digiodent remembers the choice while the app stays open. On
the odontogram, the panel of the chosen tooth rises from the bottom of the screen, so the odontogram keeps the whole
width. In the Treatment Room, the patient’s visit moves to a row of its own, under their name.
On a touch screen, small buttons get a larger touch area around them, without anything moving on the screen. In the agenda, a short tap opens an appointment; to move it by dragging, hold your finger on it for half a second, then drag it to the new time.
