The waitlist holds the patients who want an earlier time than their appointment and those waiting for a free slot. The agenda shows the free slots they fit, and after a cancellation Digiodent offers them the freed time.

Put a patient on the list from their appointment

1. Tap the free time in the doctor’s agenda.
2. Type the patient’s name and choose them from the list.
3. Choose the service in the Services field.
4. Tick Wants earlier.
5. Tap Save.

The appointment shows WAITING, and the earlier slots the patient fits are outlined, with “1 waiting”.

Put a patient without an appointment on the list

1. Tap Appointments, in the top bar, then Waitlist.
2. Tap New.
3. Type the patient’s name and choose them from the list.
4. Choose the service in the Services field.
5. Choose the doctor in the Doctor field.
6. Tap Put on the list.

The patient appears in the list with the state Active; with no doctor chosen, Digiodent offers them with any doctor.

Give away the slot a cancellation frees

1. Tap the appointment in the agenda.
2. Tap Cancel.
3. Type the reason in the Reason field.
4. Tap Cancel Appointment.
5. Tap Move here for the patient chosen, in the Who Can Take the Slot window.

The patient’s appointment moves to the freed slot, and their row on the list is closed.

Book someone from the list in a free slot

1. Tap an outlined slot, with “1 waiting”, in the doctor’s agenda.
2. Tap the patient in the From the waitlist tab.
3. Tap Book, at the bottom of the window.

The patient has an appointment at the slot’s time, and their row on the list moves to Booked.

Take a patient off the list

1. Tap the patient in Waitlist.
2. Tap Drop.

The row moves to the state Dropped and no longer shows in the list.
